On a Samsung Galaxy A-11, how do you take a screenshot?

In this detailed guide, I demonstrated two methods for successfully recording the screen on the Samsung Galaxy A11.

The reason I’m sharing two methods is so that if one of them fails, you have another option.

METHOD #1: Using the Screen Record Icon on the Galaxy A-11, record a screen.

  1. First, open the Quick Panel by swiping down from the top of your screen (Notification Panel).
  2. Then select the Screen Recorder Icon; to change the recording quality, long-press the screen recorder icon.
  3. You can now choose your preferred Sound settings, such as No sound, Media Sound, Media Sounds, and Mic.
  4. Then press the Start recording button.
  5. The screen recording will now begin in your phone, and you will see a countdown clock at the top of your screen, as well as many options such as the pen tool to make pictures, enabling or disabling the picture-in-picture feature, and when your screen recording is finished, simply tap on the stop icon button.
  6. That’s it.

If you don’t see the screen recorder icon in your Quick Panel?

  1. In the top right corner of the Quick Panel, click the three-dot vertical icon.
  2. Then select “Button Order” from the drop-down menu.
  3. You should now see the Record Screen Icon; drag it into the icon button section to add it to the Quick Access panel.
  4. That’s it. Enjoy…!

If the screen record icon is still not visible, try the second method for recording the screen on the Galaxy A-11.

Because the in-built screen recording option is not available on older Samsung devices, we must download a third-party screen recording application.

METHOD #2: Recording the Screen on the Galaxy A-11 Using a Screen Recording App

  1. To begin, go to your Play Store and search for XRecorder.
  2. Then click the Install button to launch it.
  3. Start Screen Recording now.
  4. That’s it.

When you install it, the screen record icon may appear in the notification panel. You can also manually record the screen by opening this app.
