On the Samsung Galaxy Note9, how do you use split screen?

Do you want to learn how to use the Galaxy Note9’s Split Screen feature? Split-screen multitasking, which allows you to utilise two apps side by side on your tablet or smartphone at the same time, can be quite beneficial on larger screen mobiles. For example, to increase productivity, you can use WhatsApp on One Screen and a browser in the other window. In this guide, we’ll show you how to enable Split Screen multitasking on the Samsung Galaxy Note9.

Split Screen has always been a part of Samsung Android UIs like OneUI and TouchWiz. We’ll show you how to enable or disable the multi-window feature on your Galaxy Note9.

In the Galaxy Note9, use the Split Screen Window feature.

1. To use the Split Screen feature on your Samsung Galaxy Note9, open the Recent Apps window by clicking on the Recent App button if you’re using Navigation buttons, or by using the Swipe up and hold gesture if you’re using Gesture navigation.

2. Then, on the top of the split-screen window, scroll through the Recent Apps and find the programme you wish to utilise.

3. Then, at the top of the App preview, press and hold the app’s icon. Then choose Open in Split Screen View from the drop-down menu.

4. From the list of Split Screen compatible Apps that appears, choose the one you want to run on the second screen.

5. After picking your programmes, a Split Screen will be used to run them simultaneously. By changing the orientation of your device, you can utilise this in either the Landscape or Portrait window.

6. Click and drag the blue line between the two programmes to resize the Split screen apps.

7. To turn off the Split Screen view, simply hold the blue line and swipe all the way down to the bottom of the screen, or go to Recent Apps and select the Close icon.

The built-in multitasking split window option is not available on earlier Samsung devices. As a result, we’ll need to get a third-party Split Screen app.
